Uttar Pradesh Police Catch Turtle Smuggler Bheem with 100 Live Turtles in Ghaziabad

The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested Bheem, a 38-year-old smuggler, in Ghaziabad for possessing 100 live turtles, including endangered species. Acting on a tip-off, police apprehended Bheem in Geeta Colony and found the turtles in his bag.

Bheem revealed he and his associate, Ravi Bhatnagar, have been smuggling turtles from the Ganga River. A case has been registered under the Wild Life Protection Act and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, and the search for Ravi continues.
