Rahul Gandhi and Ghulam Nabi Azad Condemn Terrorist Attack in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, expressed his sorrow over the killing of four soldiers in an encounter with terrorists in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that strong action, not hollow speeches, is needed to address these attacks. Gandhi paid tribute to the martyrs and extended his condolences to their families, while praying for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad also condemned the attack on an Indian Army convoy in Kathua. He expressed his deep concern over the rise in terrorism in the Jammu province and called for decisive government action to tackle terrorism and ensure public safety. Azad extended his thoughts and prayers to the injured and their families.

Four Army soldiers were killed and several others injured in the terrorist attack in the Machedi area of Kathua. An encounter between troops and terrorists is still ongoing in the area.
