Police Investigate the Tragic Incident

Dilip Bundela, the husband of a former sarpanch, was found dead in a forest in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His body was discovered covered with leaves in the Choral jungle on Monday morning.

Details of the Incident

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP, Rural) Umakant Chaudhary reported that a missing complaint was filed on Sunday at the Simrol police station. The complaint stated that Dilip Bundela was missing from his residence. The next morning, his body was found in the forest.

The police and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team investigated the scene, and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination. Preliminary investigations revealed that Bundela was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon, causing injuries to his neck, face, head, and hands.

Ongoing Investigation

DCP Umakant Chaudhary confirmed that the case is being treated as a murder. The police are recording statements from family members and continuing their investigation to uncover more details about the incident.
