LK Advani, Former Deputy Prime Minister, Now Resting at Home After Hospital Stay

Veteran BJP leader LK Advani, aged 96, has been discharged from Apollo Hospital and is now stable and resting at home. Advani, who served as Deputy Prime Minister from 2002 to 2004, was admitted to the hospital on July 3 and discharged on July 4. He was also briefly admitted to AIIMS on June 26.

Advani, a key figure in Indian politics, was awarded the Bharat Ratna in March this year. Born in Karachi (now in Pakistan) on November 8, 1927, he joined the RSS in 1942 and has held various significant positions in the BJP, including National President and Leader of the Opposition.
