New Delhi, India – Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina praised Team India’s grand victory parade in Mumbai to celebrate their ICC T20 World Cup win. He emphasized the importance of believing in oneself and trusting God, as dreams do come true.

After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, the players traveled to Mumbai. There, they had an open bus victory parade from Marine Drive to the Wankhede Stadium. Thousands of fans gathered to cheer for the team, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

At Wankhede Stadium, the players were awarded Rs 125 crore by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). They celebrated their win, discussed key performances, and danced to the national song, ‘Vande Mataram’.

Suresh Raina shared his thoughts on social media, expressing the unique experience of being a champion and the overwhelming love from fans. He encouraged everyone to believe in themselves and trust in the almighty.

Raina, who has won multiple championships, including the ICC Cricket World Cup (2011) and the ICC Champions Trophy (2013), reflected on the joy of seeing the team receive such respect at home.

Earlier, the T20 World Cup-winning team arrived in Delhi to a warm welcome. The flight, organized by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, brought the team from hurricane-struck Barbados to Delhi. India ended a 13-year ICC World Cup trophy drought by defeating South Africa in the final, with standout performances from Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah.
