New Delhi [India], July 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha, taking a jibe at the opposition and highlighting India’s progress since 2014. He criticized the pre-2014 era for its numerous scams and lack of self-confidence among citizens.

Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address, Modi said, “When a nation develops, it lays a foundation for the dreams of future generations. We will dedicate every moment of our time to making India developed.”

He emphasized that before 2014, the country was plagued by scams and despair. “Nepotism was so widespread that ordinary young people had lost hope,” he added.

Modi highlighted his government’s achievements, including economic growth and improved security. “Today, Indian banks are among the most profitable in the world. We conduct surgical strikes and airstrikes, demonstrating our capability to combat terrorism,” he asserted.

Speaking on Article 370, Modi said, “Those who worshipped Article 370 had ruined the condition of Jammu and Kashmir. Today, after the wall of Article 370 has fallen, stone-pelting has stopped, democracy is strong, and people are coming forward in large numbers to vote.”
