West Indies Test Series Update: Jason Holder’s Absence
All-rounder Jason Holder will miss the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury. In his absence, off-spinner Kevin Sinclair and right-arm pacer Anderson Phillip return to the squad. Phillip has shown impressive form in domestic and county cricket.
Team Changes and Leadership
Alzarri Joseph is back in the team after being rested for workload management. Joshua Da Silva retains his role as vice-captain, even with Joseph’s return. Gudakesh Motie and Bryan Charles are not included in the squad. Motie is currently playing in the T20I series against England, while Charles has yet to make his Test debut.
