Nana Patole Criticizes Yogi Adityanath’s Politics in Maharashtra

Nana Patole, the president of the Maharashtra Congress, has criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, urging him to keep his political activities confined to UP. Patole emphasized that Maharashtra, the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, does not engage in divisive politics. He expressed concerns over attacks on cultural events and highlighted issues like farmers’ problems, unemployment, and inflation as priorities.

Patole also criticized Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address corruption within the Shiv Sena. He accused the current government of indebting Maharashtra and shifting industries to Gujarat. Patole mentioned Nawab Malik, a candidate from the Mahayuti government, who was jailed for 17 months, questioning the government’s stance on him.

Patole expressed confidence in the formation of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra, condemning the BJP’s alleged misuse of agencies like ED and CBI to instill fear. He welcomed the Supreme Court’s stance against such practices.

Earlier, UP CM Yogi Adityanath delivered a speech against the MVA alliance, urging voters to stay united. He highlighted strict actions against land grabbing and emphasized the absence of issues like ‘Love Jihad’ and ‘Land Jihad’ in UP. Yogi criticized previous governments for protecting mafias, asserting that they are now being dealt with harshly.

The upcoming polls are scheduled for November 20, with counting on November 23. The Mahayuti alliance includes BJP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, and Ajit Pawar-led NCP, while the opposition MVA comprises Congress, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT), and Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SCP).
