Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Leads ‘Maati Ke Veer’ Padayatra in Chhattisgarh

On November 13, Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, will lead the Bhagwan Birsa Munda ‘Maati Ke Veer’ Padayatra in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh. This event is part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, celebrating the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and honoring the contributions of tribal communities to India’s development.

Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and other state ministers will join the march, which aims to promote tribal heritage and inclusivity. Over 10,000 MY Bharat youth volunteers will participate, emphasizing the importance of preserving tribal culture and legacy.

The Padayatra will start from Komodo village and end at Ranjeet Stadium, covering a distance of approximately 7 kilometers. The event will feature cultural performances, including tribal dances and music, and an exhibition showcasing historical tribal movements and artistry.

The march will begin with a tree plantation activity, supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ initiative. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports aims to foster a deeper appreciation of tribal heritage and actively involve the tribal community in government welfare initiatives.

This Padayatra is part of a year-long celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution, with a series of similar events planned across India to highlight the country’s cultural diversity.
