Uttarakhand’s 25th Foundation Day: Development Announcements by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami
On the 25th Foundation Day of Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced several key initiatives for the state’s development. He promised that by 2030, all villages with a population of 50 or more will be connected by road. A new process will be established to ensure the accountability of contractors and engineers, aiming to improve road quality and prevent accidents.
To address traffic issues caused by disasters, valley bridges will be installed. The state will also adopt a women’s policy to promote their development, including the Chief Minister Mother Child Incentive Assistance Fund. A youth development policy is also in the works, with additional rewards for state athletes winning national games.
Starting this year, National Uttarakhandi Migrant Day will be celebrated annually in November, and International Uttarakhand Migrant Day in January. During the Foundation Day celebrations, CM Dhami awarded the Uttarakhand Ratna Awards to five individuals, including CDS Anil Chauhan and folk singer Pritam Bharatwan.
CM Dhami expressed his gratitude to the people of Uttarakhand and honored those who sacrificed for the country, echoing PM Narendra Modi’s vision for Uttarakhand’s progress in the 21st century.
