In Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army announced the successful neutralization of two terrorists involved in a recent encounter in Sopore. These terrorists had been active in North Kashmir, posing a threat to peace in the region.

On November 7, the Indian Army, along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF, received intelligence about the terrorists hiding in Panipura village. A search operation was launched, during which the terrorists opened fire. The operation concluded with the neutralization of the terrorists and the recovery of a significant cache of arms and war-like materials.

Brigadier Deepak Mohan, commanding officer of the 7 Sector RR, highlighted the importance of this achievement for the security forces. He emphasized the Indian Army’s dedication to maintaining peace in Jammu and Kashmir and expressed gratitude for the support from the local population.

The operation in Baramulla was part of ongoing proactive measures by security forces to combat terrorism in the region, with several notorious terrorists already neutralized.
