In a courageous joint operation, the Uttarakhand State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) successfully rescued a young man who was trapped in the middle of the Mandakini River. The incident occurred near Agastyamuni town in Uttarakhand when the youth attempted to cross the river using a trolley.

Rescue Details

The trolley became stuck due to a technical fault, leaving the youth stranded. Upon receiving the alert, the SDRF, along with the Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), local police, and fire service, quickly mobilized to the scene. Under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Ashish Dimri, the team employed a rope river crossing technique to reach and safely bring the youth to shore.
