Importance of Judicial Institutions

He noted that the museum’s conceptualization and planning took about a year and a half, while its execution was completed in six months, setting a record pace.

The museum’s designers, who also worked on the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay and the Teen Murti Bhawan, were praised for their efforts. Chief Justice Chandrachud highlighted the museum’s international quality and its role in reflecting the Supreme Court’s importance to the nation. He dedicated the museum to the nation, aiming to make it an interactive space for the younger generation.

Upcoming Retirement

Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India, is set to retire on November 10. Justice Sanjeev Khanna will succeed him, as notified by the center on October 24.
