Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Urges Mumbadevi to Elect Shaina NC for Redevelopment
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has called on the citizens of the Mumbadevi constituency to vote for Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC. He believes her election will help address the redevelopment of old buildings in the area. On November 6, Shinde inaugurated Shaina NC’s central election office, emphasizing the sacredness of the Mumbadevi constituency, named after Goddess Mumbadevi.
Shinde highlighted the Mahayuti government’s efforts, including a Rs220 crore allocation for developing the temple complex and improving transportation for devotees. He also discussed the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, which aims to empower 2.5 crore women by increasing their stipend from Rs1500 to Rs2100 per month. The government is also promoting women’s self-help groups and recruiting 25,000 female police officers for safety.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale supported Shaina NC, praising her ability to address women’s issues in the assembly. Shaina NC expressed gratitude for the support and promised to work hard for the constituents of Mumbadevi. The Maharashtra Assembly election is scheduled for November 20, with vote counting on November 23.
