Special Olympics Bharat Hosts ‘Run for Inclusion’ in New Delhi
Special Olympics Bharat (SOB), a national sports federation in India, is organizing a special event called ‘Run for Inclusion’ on Saturday. This event is a precursor to the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Bocce and Bowling Competition, which will be held at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi from November 18-23.
Event Details
The ‘Run for Inclusion’ is expected to be the largest of its kind in India, with around 10,000 participants from Delhi NCR joining a 3 km run. The event will start at the Central Civil Service Ground, Nehru Park in Chanakyapuri. The theme, ‘Each One, Reach One,’ emphasizes inclusivity and encourages participants to connect with special athletes.

Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road, Transport & Highways, will be the Chief Guest. Other notable attendees include Kamaljeet Sherawat, Bansuri Swaraj, and Manoj Tiwari, all Lok Sabha Members from different parts of Delhi.
