India Triumphs at Asia Pickleball Games 2024
The All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) proudly announced that Indian athletes excelled at the Asia Pickleball Games 2024, winning numerous medals. The event, organized by the Asia Federation of Pickleball and the Chinese Taipei Pickleball Association, featured top players from countries like India, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, China, Indonesia, South Korea, and Malaysia.
Outstanding Performances
India’s athletes brought home several gold and silver medals, showcasing the country’s growing prowess in pickleball. Nitten Kirttane won gold in the 50+ Open Men’s Singles, while Vishal Jadhav earned silver in the 35+ Open Men’s Singles. In the women’s singles 4.0 category, Khushi Sachdeva and Shraddha Damani each secured silver in the 19+ and 35+ age groups, respectively. Sandeep Tawde also added a silver in the 50+ men’s singles 4.0 category.
Success in Doubles
In doubles, Nitten Kirttane and Sandeep Tawde claimed gold in the 50+ Open Men’s Doubles. Vanshik Kapadia and Tejas Mahajan triumphed in the 19+ Open Men’s Doubles, while Vanshik Kapadia and Vrushali Thakare won gold in the 19+ Open Mixed Doubles. Vishal Jadhav and Isha Lakhani also clinched gold in the 35+ Open Mixed Doubles.
Bronze Medalists
Indian athletes also celebrated bronze victories, with Chetan Sanil, Vrushali Thakare, Khushi Sachdeva, Shraddha Damani, Sandeep Tawde, and Johann Fernandes earning medals.
