Shivraj Singh Chouhan Confident of BJP’s Victory in Jharkhand Elections
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is overseeing the BJP’s election campaign in Jharkhand, expressed strong confidence in the party’s success in the upcoming assembly elections. He stated that the people of Jharkhand are supporting the BJP and NDA, and he anticipates a significant victory.
Chouhan highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s recent visit to Jharkhand, describing the state as filled with joy and enthusiasm. He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to protecting Jharkhand’s land, daughters, and resources, creating jobs for the youth, empowering women, and eliminating corruption and infiltration.
Prime Minister Modi, during an election rally in Chaibasa, promised to take measures against infiltration and to return land to tribal women if the BJP forms the government. He reiterated the party’s slogan, ‘roti, beti aur maati,’ and criticized the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for engaging in vote bank politics and endangering Jharkhand’s identity.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed confidence in the INDIA alliance’s victory, citing the benefits people received from his government’s policies. He accused the BJP of dividing society and causing hunger during their previous rule.
The elections for Jharkhand’s 81-seat assembly will occur in two phases on November 13 and November 20, with vote counting on November 23.
