In a recent meeting, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu discussed the development of Amaravati, the state’s capital, with CRDA officials. The plan includes a budget of Rs 60,000 crores, as announced by Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana.

Minister Narayana stated that previous tenders for Amaravati’s development have been closed following a committee report. New tenders will be called, aiming to complete the redevelopment in three years. The budget will cover a 360km trunk road, 3600 official houses, and several administrative buildings.
Chief Minister’s Vision-2047
CM Naidu emphasized his Vision-2047, highlighting the donation of 34,241 acres by 29,881 farmers for Amaravati’s development. He mentioned plans for a bullet train and interlinking rivers, aiming to make Amaravati a beautiful city. The Centre has pledged Rs 15,000 crore, and the World Bank has approved a loan for the project.
