On November 4, Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand BJP co-incharge, Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand again on November 10. PM Modi had already addressed two rallies in Chaibasa and Garhwa, where he expressed confidence in the BJP forming the government.

Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned that PM Modi’s visit on November 10 will include two public meetings, one in Bokaro and another in Ranchi, or alternatively, a public meeting in Bokaro and a roadshow in Ranchi. Due to Chatth Puja, fewer meetings are expected on November 6 and 7, but many are planned for November 8, 9, 10, and 11.

PM Modi’s Criticism of JMM

During his rallies, PM Modi criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for disrespecting former Chief Minister Champai Soren and accused the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance of endangering Jharkhand’s identity. He recalled past events, such as the Gua Goli Kaand, to highlight the alleged mistreatment of tribals by Congress.

The Jharkhand Assembly elections are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with results to be announced on November 23. PM Modi expressed confidence that the BJP-NDA will secure a historic victory.
