Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Responds to Actor Vijay’s Allegations

In Chennai, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin addressed allegations made by actor-turned-politician Vijay against the DMK. Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), criticized both the BJP-led Union Government and the DMK-led State Government, passing 26 resolutions. These included opposition to the ‘One Nation One Election’ proposal and criticism of the DMK’s handling of law and order.

Stalin dismissed the criticisms, emphasizing the DMK’s achievements over the past four years. He stated, “Whoever starts a new party says DMK should be destroyed. I just say to them, think about this government’s achievements in the last 4 years. Our journey is to do good things for the people.”

Stalin also participated in public welfare events in Kolathur, inaugurating a ‘Co-working Space’ and an ‘Education Centre’ for students. He distributed certificates to students at Anitha Academy, recalling the tragic death of Anitha due to the NEET exam. Stalin expressed hope for change, saying, “One day the Union Government will accept the Tamil Nadu people’s voice against NEET.”

He highlighted the DMK’s efforts in managing recent rainfall in Chennai, contrasting it with past incidents. Stalin also initiated several infrastructure projects, including transformer substations, multi-purpose centers, and a women’s gymnasium.
