Israeli Forces Capture Syrian Terror Operative Linked to Iran

In a significant operation, Israeli forces entered Syria to arrest a terror operative working with Iranian agents. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that soldiers from the elite Egoz commando unit captured Ali Suleiman al-Aadi, a Syrian national from Saida. Al-Aadi was reportedly gathering intelligence on Israeli forces for future terror activities. He is now in Israel for interrogation.

The IDF emphasized their commitment to securing the borders and preventing the establishment of an Iranian axis in southern Syria. They released footage of al-Aadi explaining his recruitment by Iran, where an Iranian agent posed as a Syrian military intelligence officer interested in Israeli border patrol movements.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials have increased their aggressive rhetoric following Israeli airstrikes on military bases on October 26. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini warned of a strong response to actions against Iran and its allies. Reports suggest Iran may strike before the US elections, with support from proxy groups in Iraq and Yemen.

The IDF’s announcement coincides with a visit from US Central Command’s Gen. Michael “Erik” Kurilla for discussions with Israeli military leaders, alongside the deployment of US B-52 bombers in the Middle East.
