Hezbollah’s Rocket Attacks on Israel: A Month of Conflict

In the past month, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) reported that Hezbollah launched over 4,400 projectiles towards Israel. The IDF also discovered more than 3,000 explosive devices and dismantled 2,500 anti-tank missiles and rocket-propelled grenades. They have eliminated over 1,500 terrorists since the conflict began.

In a social media post, the IDF shared a recap of their operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. They also found a statue of Adolf Hitler and Nazi symbols in a civilian home in Lebanon, claiming Hezbollah’s goal is to annihilate Israel.

Recently, Hezbollah’s rocket attacks resulted in the deaths of seven Israeli civilians. The IDF vowed to respond to these deadly attacks. US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin discussed de-escalation opportunities with Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, emphasizing US support for Israel’s security.

Tragically, rockets fired from Lebanon killed five people in an apple orchard near Metula and two more in an olive grove near Kiryat Ata, marking a deadly day for Israeli civilians.
