BJP Leader Criticizes Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren
In New Delhi, a controversy has arisen over the age of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) of corruption, claiming it stands for ‘Jhol, Muslim appeasement, and Mafia’. He alleged that Soren’s age increased by seven years in five years, suggesting corruption in affidavits.

BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo pointed out differences in Soren’s nomination papers from 2021 and 2024, questioning how Soren’s age could change from 45 to 49 in five years. He also noted missing assets in Soren’s 2021 affidavit.
