Govind Lal Tiwari Airlifted to Bhopal Using PM Shri Air Ambulance

A 55-year-old man named Govind Lal Tiwari from Judmaniya Murli village in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh, became the first person to use the PM Shri Air Ambulance service in the state. Tiwari was admitted to Super Speciality Hospital Rewa on June 23 after suffering a heart attack. When his condition did not improve, he was referred to Bhopal for better treatment.

With the help of doctors and the district administration, Tiwari was airlifted to Bhopal on June 24. Dr. Akshay Shrivastava, Superintendent of Super Speciality Hospital Rewa, expressed happiness over the successful referral. He mentioned that Tiwari’s condition was critical, and the air ambulance was equipped with all necessary medical facilities.

Sunita Devi, Tiwari’s sister, thanked the Madhya Pradesh Government, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, and Deputy Chief Minister and Public Health Minister Rajendra Shukla for the free air ambulance service. She appreciated the quick arrangements made by the district administration.

The PM Shri Air Ambulance service is provided free of cost to Ayushman card holders and individuals seriously injured in accidents or natural disasters. Tiwari, an Ayushman card holder, benefited from this service and is now stable and undergoing treatment in Bhopal.
