In Ayodhya, preparations are in full swing for the grandest Deepotsav festival, following the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister’s Office has reported that all departments are working hard to enhance the festival’s beauty.

Lighting Up Ayodhya

The Animal Husbandry Department has pledged to light 1.5 lakh diyas made from cow dung as part of the celebrations. On Monday, Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh met with the Chief Minister to present these diyas and other cow-based products, highlighting the state’s commitment to cow conservation and promotion.

World Record Attempt

The Yogi government plans to light over 35 lakh diyas in Ayodhya, with 28 lakh diyas set to illuminate 55 ghats along the Saryu River, aiming to set a new world record. The Chief Minister praised the Animal Husbandry Department for their dedication to this grand event.

Cow Protection Initiatives

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reiterated his commitment to cow protection. He has instructed officials to organize cow worship programs at cow shelters across the state during Govardhan Puja. These events will involve ministers, MPs, MLAs, public representatives, social workers, and cow enthusiasts to raise awareness and promote cow care.

Additionally, the Chief Minister has directed that all cow shelters in the state ensure proper maintenance, ample green fodder, and regular health check-ups, emphasizing that cow protection and promotion are top priorities for the government.
