Earlier, President Sanchez spoke at the inauguration of the Tata-Airbus facility, recalling the cultural collaboration between Spanish guitarist Paco de Lucia and Indian musician Ravi Shankar. He praised the partnership between Tata and Airbus as a symbol of industrial excellence and growth. Sanchez highlighted the potential for Indian companies to grow and expressed confidence in the collaboration’s success.

Future Prospects

The facility is expected to produce the first C295 aircraft in India by 2026, contributing to India’s defense capabilities and technological development. It will create thousands of jobs and train a new generation of engineers and technicians, further strengthening the industrial ties between India and Spain.
