Annu Dhankar Arrested: Key Figure in Himanshu Bhau Gang’s Rajouri Garden Murder Case
In New Delhi, Annu Dhankar, a significant suspect in a murder case at a Burger King outlet in Rajouri Garden, was apprehended by the Delhi Police. During interrogation, Dhankar revealed her connections with gangsters Himanshu Bhau and Sahil Ritolia, who promised her a US visa and a luxurious life abroad. She lured the victim to the crime scene, where he was killed by the gang.
Dhankar was caught at the India-Nepal border while attempting to flee. After the murder, she traveled through various cities, including Chandigarh, Katra, Haridwar, and Kota, staying in different accommodations. Throughout this period, she remained in contact with Bhau and Ritolia, who supported her financially.
In July, the Delhi Police, in collaboration with Haryana’s Special Task Force, neutralized three shooters from the Himanshu Bhau gang in Sonipat, Haryana. These shooters were involved in the Rajouri Garden incident, where Aman Joon was killed. The gang, led by Himanshu Bhau, claimed the attack as revenge for a previous murder.
The gang has been involved in numerous criminal activities, leading to the invocation of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act against them. Interpol has issued a red-corner notice for Himanshu Bhau, highlighting the gang’s international notoriety.
