The village of Sirsa in Haryana gathered to pay their respects to Rifleman Jeevan Singh, who tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack, which occurred on Thursday, claimed the lives of two Indian Army soldiers and two civilian porters.

Tributes from Leaders

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid homage to the fallen heroes, including Rifleman Jeevan Singh, Rifleman Kaisar Ahmad Shah, and Defence Porters Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdary and Zahoor Ahmad Mir. The tribute took place in the Butapathri area of Gulmarg, Baramulla district.

Recent Terror Incidents

The attack is part of a recent surge in terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir. On October 24, a labourer named Pritam Singh from Uttar Pradesh was injured in a shooting in Pulwama district. Earlier, on October 20, a doctor and six construction workers were killed in an attack on a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway in Ganderbal district.
