Baloch Yakjehti Committee Organizes Protest in Kharan Against Enforced Disappearances
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has planned a peaceful protest rally in Kharan, Balochistan, to address the issue of enforced disappearances by the Pakistan armed forces. The Baloch community is protesting under the banner “Breaking Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances,” with demonstrations occurring in Karachi, Hub, Turbat, and Khuzdar. These actions have raised human rights concerns, as peaceful protestors face abductions, infringing on their freedom of speech and assembly. The BYC calls on the Baloch people to unite against these state actions.
