Tragic Loss in Baramulla: Family of Civilian Porter Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary Seeks Justice
In Jammu and Kashmir, a civilian porter named Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary was tragically killed in a terrorist attack on a military vehicle in Baramulla. His family, including a cancer-stricken father, an elderly mother, and a 3-year-old child, is left without a source of income. The attack, which occurred on Thursday, also resulted in the deaths of two Indian Army soldiers and another civilian porter. One soldier and one porter were injured and are receiving medical treatment. The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps reported that a firefight took place in the Butapathri area of Baramulla, leading to these casualties.
Security forces are continuing search operations in the area following the attack. In a separate incident on the same day, a labourer named Pritam Singh from Uttar Pradesh was injured in a terrorist attack in the Batgund Tral area of Pulwama district. Additionally, on October 20, a doctor and six construction workers were killed in an attack on a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway in the Ganderbal district.
