Shivraj Singh Chouhan Criticizes Hemant Soren Government in Jharkhand
In Ranchi, Jharkhand, Union Minister and BJP’s election in-charge for the state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, criticized the Hemant Soren-led government for alleged corruption and safety issues concerning women. Chouhan stated that while natural disasters like cyclone ‘Dana’ can be managed, the ongoing corruption in Jharkhand has been devastating. He described the alliance between Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress as a greater threat than the cyclone, urging voters to support the BJP-NDA in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a public meeting in Ranchi’s Morabadi Ground, Chouhan emphasized the lack of safety for women and the government’s inaction. He accused the current administration of failing the youth and promised that the BJP would address issues like paper leaks and provide jobs if elected. The BJP has announced its first list of 66 candidates for the Jharkhand Assembly elections, which will occur in two phases on November 13 and November 20, with results announced on November 23.
