Dubai Launches #ZayedAndRashid Campaign to Celebrate UAE’s National Occasions
Under the guidance of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai has launched the #ZayedAndRashid campaign to honor key national events. This initiative, in partnership with 16 entities, coincides with UAE Flag Day and the 53rd Union Day, running from November 3 to December 2. The campaign celebrates the UAE’s founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and aims to strengthen national identity.
Celebrations Across Dubai
The campaign will feature a variety of events across Dubai, showcasing the city’s cultural diversity and historical achievements. Highlights include the #UAEFlagGarden, cultural events at the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, and performances at Al Wasl Plaza. The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority will host events at key cultural sites, while Dubai Airports will celebrate with traditional performances and displays.

Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, will coordinate the campaign, involving homegrown businesses and public-private partnerships. The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism will host concerts and parades, while the Knowledge and Human Development Authority will promote national identity through school activities.
