Bomb Scare on IndiGo Flights from Hyderabad to Jodhpur and Kolkata to Jaipur
On October 22, two IndiGo flights faced bomb threats, causing emergency protocols to be activated. The flights were from Hyderabad to Jodhpur and Kolkata to Jaipur. Both threats were later confirmed as hoaxes.
Hyderabad to Jodhpur Flight Incident
The Hyderabad-Jodhpur flight, numbered 6E-297, received a bomb threat at 5.45 pm. Authorities at Jodhpur Airport conducted a thorough search of the aircraft. DCP Alok Shrivastava stated that all passengers were de-boarded, and the plane was cleared by the bomb squad before continuing its journey.
Kolkata to Jaipur Flight Incident
Similarly, the Kolkata-Jaipur flight, numbered 6E-394, received a bomb threat via X. Station House Officer Sandeep Basera confirmed that no suspicious objects were found. The 163 passengers and crew were de-boarded during the investigation, and the threat was deemed a hoax.
