BJP Leader Sambit Patra Highlights Youth Joining Party in Large Numbers

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sambit Patra announced that a significant portion of new party members are young people. During a press conference, he stated that 61% of the newly enrolled members are under the age of 35. This reflects a growing interest among the youth in the BJP’s mission, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

The BJP’s membership has recently reached 10 crores, with aspirations to surpass 11 crores. The current membership drive, which will conclude at the end of October, emphasizes physical enrolment at the Mandal level, moving away from online registration. Members are awarded certificates after donating Rs 100 and enrolling 50 members under their assembly.

The membership drive, named ‘Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024’, was launched by Prime Minister Modi on September 2. The party plans to review its performance from November 1 to 5.
