Assam Rifles Motivates Students in Mizoram to Join Indian Armed Forces
In Zokhawthar town, Champhai district of Mizoram, Assam Rifles organized a motivational lecture for over 300 students from classes 1 to 8. The event aimed to inspire students to consider careers in the Indian armed forces. The lecture covered entry points, opportunities in Military and Sainik Schools, and the rewarding career paths in the armed forces. Students were encouraged to explore these options, emphasizing discipline and a sense of purpose in serving the nation.
The session, part of Assam Rifles’ community engagement efforts, aimed to instill duty, honor, and patriotism. Students actively participated, showing interest in shaping their futures through defense services. Information on entry, eligibility, and recruitment processes was provided, along with a Q&A session to address student queries.
Both students and teachers expressed gratitude for the session, which highlighted the noble prospects of serving the nation. Earlier, Assam Rifles facilitated six young men from Manipur selected as Agniveer candidates in the Indian Army, following rigorous pre-recruitment training attended by 31 young men.
