In Bokaro, Jharkhand, Amar Kumar Bauri, the Leader of Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, expressed confidence that the BJP will form the government in the upcoming state elections. During an election campaign, Bauri emphasized the importance of the elections, stating that it is not just about electing MLAs and Ministers but about saving Jharkhand and the country. He assured that under BJP’s leadership, the ‘Lotus’ will bloom in Jharkhand.

BJP leader Sita Soren also voiced her commitment to bringing change to the state. She has been given the ticket to contest from the Jamtara seat and is determined to win with a full majority. Sita Soren criticized the current government for increasing corruption and crime, promising that the BJP will bring positive change.

Sita Soren, who joined the BJP in March, is the wife of the late Durga Soren, brother of Hemant Soren. She previously lost the Lok Sabha polls from Dumka to JMM’s Nalin Soren. The BJP has announced its first list of 66 candidates, including former Chief Ministers Champai Soren and Babulal Marandi. The party will contest the elections in alliance with AJSU, JD-U, and LJP, covering 81 seats in two phases on November 13 and 20.
