Assam CM Launches Mission Basundhara 3.0

On Sunday, Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, introduced Mission Basundhara 3.0 at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati. This initiative aims to provide land rights to the indigenous people of Assam, despite criticism from opposition parties like Congress and AIUDF. The Chief Minister emphasized the mission’s purpose to support the state’s native population.

Government’s Commitment to Administrative Efficiency

The Chief Minister’s Office highlighted the launch of Digidoc, a digital directory for documents, by the Revenue Department. This tool is designed to simplify administrative processes, reduce processing time, and improve public convenience, showcasing the government’s dedication to efficiency.

Previous Launches of Mission Basundhara

Mission Basundhara 1.0 was first launched on October 2, 2021, followed by Mission Basundhara 2.0 in November 2022.

Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) 2.0

On Friday, CM Sarma also launched CMAAA 2.0 at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Guwahati. This initiative builds on CMAAA 1.0, which distributed Rs 510 crores to 25,238 entrepreneurs. CMAAA 2.0 aims to support 75,000 beneficiaries, providing Rs 5 lakhs for professional courses and Rs 2 lakhs for non-professional courses, encouraging youth entrepreneurship in Assam.
