Tragic Accident in Dholpur: PM Modi Announces Aid for Victims

A devastating accident occurred in Dholpur, Rajasthan, involving a bus and a tempo, resulting in the loss of 12 lives, including children. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences and announced financial aid for the victims’ families. An ex-gratia payment of Rs. 2 lakh will be given to the families of the deceased, and Rs. 50,000 to those injured.

The accident took place on Saturday night near Sunipur, as a sleeper bus was traveling from Dholpur to Jaipur. The collision involved a tempo, leading to the tragic deaths of three adult women, the tempo driver, and several children. Shiv Lahari Meena, the In-charge of Bari Kotwali Police Station, provided details of the incident.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed his sorrow over the incident and instructed the administration to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured. He prayed for peace for the departed souls and a speedy recovery for those injured.
