The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, announced the organization of the 32nd Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress (HPCSC)-2024. This event aims to promote science among young people in the state.

Theme: Traditional Knowledge Systems and Modern Science

This year’s theme is ‘Traditional Knowledge Systems and Modern Science.’ The event began on October 18 and involves around 22,000 students and 8,000 teachers. It is being held across all 73 sub-divisions on October 18, 19, 21, and 22, and in all 12 districts on November 6 and 8, 2024.

Grand Celebration

A grand state-level celebration is scheduled for November 13 and 14. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all participants, emphasizing their role in shaping the future of science in Himachal Pradesh.

Organizers

The event is organized by the Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (HIMCOSTE) in collaboration with the Department of Education and Samagra Shiksha Himachal Pradesh.
