India Hosts First FEI CSI 2 Event in Bengaluru
For the first time, India is hosting the prestigious FEI Concours Saut International 2 (CSI 2) at Surge Stable in Bangalore from October 18-20. This event features riders aged 12 and above competing in various categories, including the Children and Junior Show Jumping competitions.
Day 1 Highlights
On the first day of the CSI 2 competition, Kiran Dinesh Akhade delivered an outstanding performance on his horse SRS Newgrange. The 22-year-old completed the course with an obstacle height of 130 cm in just 69.36 seconds, securing first place. Saravanan, riding Mewrick BMG, finished second, while Kirat Nagra on Little Joe took third place.

Junior and Children’s Competitions
In the Junior event, Jai Singh Sabharwal claimed victory with a time of 65.68 seconds on Carna De La Bryere. The Children’s category saw Eshaan Sundaram win with a time of 72.06 seconds on Pat, earning a spot in the AEF Cup Children Final in Indonesia.
Col. Jaiveer Singh, General Secretary of the Equestrian Federation of India, expressed pride in hosting the event, highlighting its significance in promoting Indian equestrian sports globally.
