The Abu Dhabi Government wrapped up its five-day involvement at GITEX Global 2024 with the signing of several strategic memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to revolutionize public services using innovative technologies.

Key Collaborations

On the final day, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) signed an MoU with The Arabic Vision Information Systems. This partnership will enhance ADCDA’s capabilities with advanced information and communication technology solutions, including high-performance workstations, network infrastructure, and modern sound systems. The goal is to improve efficiency and security, especially during emergencies, with advanced surveillance and an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system for better vehicle identification.

Another significant MoU was signed with Color Works Computer, which will provide maintenance and hardware repair services. This includes routine and on-demand support, ensuring smooth operations with minimal downtime. A dedicated team of technicians will conduct regular inspections and repairs.

Additionally, ADCDA partnered with United Security Group for comprehensive maintenance services for network cabling and connectivity. This collaboration focuses on maintaining reliable communication networks through regular inspections and prompt repairs by a specialized team of engineers.

Event Highlights

The event concluded with a thank-you ceremony by the Abu Dhabi Government, recognizing the participation of over thirty government entities and their partners. Throughout the week at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi showcased groundbreaking AI-enabled platforms like TAMM 3.0, the Sahatna app, and the Tomouh learning platform. These initiatives aim to set new standards in digital governance and enhance public service delivery.
