Pakistan Cricket Board to Announce Squad for Australia Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to reveal the team for the upcoming white-ball series against Australia. Mohammad Rizwan is being considered to replace Babar Azam as the captain for the white-ball matches. The final decision will be made by PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi after discussions with officials and selectors.

Potential Squad Changes

Right-arm fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain might return to the One Day International (ODI) team, having last played against New Zealand in January 2023. All-rounder Aamir Jamal and wicketkeeper-batter Haseebullah are also being considered for the squad.

Series Schedule

The ODI series will start on November 4 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, followed by matches on November 8 at Adelaide Oval and November 10 at Optus Stadium. This will be followed by three T20 matches on November 14, 16, and 18.

Pat Cummins will lead the Australian team, which will not include Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, and Cameron Green. Marsh and Head are on paternity leave, while Green is recovering from back surgery. Josh Inglis will be the sole wicketkeeper for the series.
