In New Delhi, former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain has been granted bail in a money laundering case. His daughter, Shreya Jain, expressed her happiness, stating, “We always knew this would happen, it’s just a matter of time.” She mentioned that with Diwali approaching, the bail feels like an early celebration for their family.

Jain’s wife, Poonam Jain, thanked the court and judiciary, expressing their faith in his innocence. She emphasized that Jain is a social worker dedicated to society, not politics.

Congress leader Supriya Shrinate called for swift justice, questioning the prolonged incarceration of Jain. She urged the courts to ensure justice is visibly served. Congress national secretary Abhishek Dutt noted that bail does not equate to acquittal and criticized the Aam Aadmi Party for corruption allegations.
