In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi police’s special cell, in collaboration with Mathura Police, apprehended a key shooter from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Hashim Baba gang. This arrest is linked to the murder of Nadir Shah, a 35-year-old gym owner, who was killed in public on September 12 in South Delhi.

Details of the Arrest

The main shooter, identified as Yogesh, was captured after being shot in the leg during an encounter on Mathura Highway. This follows the arrest of another suspect, Madhur alias Ayaan, on October 13, who was also injured during a police encounter on the Narela to Bawana road. A pistol, live cartridges, and a motorcycle were seized from him.

Previous Arrests

Earlier, on September 19, the Delhi Special Police Cell and Meerut Special Task Force arrested two gang members, Anas Khan and Asad Ameen, who were also injured during their capture. On September 14, a fifth suspect, Sajid, was arrested, following the earlier arrests of Nitlesh Tiwari, Vishal Verma, Akash Yadav, and Naveen Balayan. All suspects have been presented in court and are in police custody.
