President Droupadi Murmu’s Visit to Mauritania

President Droupadi Murmu is visiting Mauritania as part of her three-state tour. She met with President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani at the Presidential Palace to discuss strengthening the relationship between India and Mauritania.

This visit marks the first time an Indian President has visited Mauritania, coinciding with Mauritania’s Chair-ship of the African Union.
