Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Contest Wayanad Bypoll
Avinash Pandey, the in-charge of the Uttar Pradesh Congress, expressed his happiness about Priyanka Gandhi Vadra contesting the Lok Sabha bypoll from Wayanad, Kerala. He is confident that the people of Wayanad will support her. Priyanka Gandhi is a national leader and will represent Wayanad, following in the footsteps of Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress party announced Priyanka Gandhi’s candidacy for the Wayanad seat, which was vacated by Rahul Gandhi after he was elected from Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge approved her candidature. The party also announced candidates for assembly bypolls in Kerala.

The bypolls in Wayanad and other assembly seats will be held on November 13, with results declared on November 23.
If Priyanka wins, she will be the third MP from the Gandhi family in the current Parliament, joining Sonia Gandhi in the Rajya Sabha. Priyanka has been involved in politics, maintaining ties with Amethi and Raebareli, before actively entering the political arena.
