Maharashtra Elections: Mahayuti Alliance Aims for Victory
Following the announcement of the Maharashtra Assembly election dates, BJP leader Shaina NC expressed confidence that the ruling Mahayuti alliance will form the government for a third consecutive term. She noted the opposition’s disbelief, especially after the Haryana election results, as they realized the Mahayuti alliance was poised for a historic victory in Maharashtra.
Shaina emphasized the alliance’s commitment to public service, contrasting it with the Maha Vikas Aghadi’s focus on self-interest. “We welcome the Election Commission’s decision. The opposition is shocked because, after the Haryana results, they know that we will secure a hat-trick and a historic victory in Maharashtra,” she stated.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also expressed strong confidence in the Mahayuti alliance’s success, highlighting the welfare schemes initiated by the alliance. “Voting will take place in Maharashtra on 20th November, and that day will decide the state’s fate. The work done by Mahayuti in the last 2.5 years is visible for all to see,” he said.
The Maharashtra Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on November 20, with votes counted on November 23. The election will see a contest between the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition and the Mahayuti alliance.
