The Indian Army is set to honor the brave soldiers of the Battle of Walong from the 1962 Sino-Indian War with a series of events marking the 62nd Walong Day. This year’s events include white water rafting, motorcycle and bicycle rallies, battlefield and adventure treks, and a half marathon, showcasing the adventurous spirit of the Indian Army in Arunachal Pradesh. Walong Day Celebrations

The Shaurya Sthal at Lama Spur and key infrastructure projects will also be inaugurated, emphasizing efforts to improve connectivity and security.
