Sohail Abro Condemns Attack on Pashtun Tahafuz Movement Jirga

In Karachi, Pakistan, Sohail Abro, Chairman of the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM), has condemned the unprovoked firing by Pakistani forces on the peaceful Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Jirga in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This attack resulted in the deaths of three PTM workers and injured many others.

Abro described the incident as part of the Pakistani state’s ongoing oppression against marginalized communities, including the Pashtun, Baloch, and Sindhi nations. He stated that the state’s violent response aims to silence voices calling for justice and human rights.

Abro called on international human rights organizations, such as the United Nations Human Rights Council, Amnesty International, and the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, to address this act and hold the Pakistani state accountable for its human rights violations.

He emphasized the unity of oppressed nations as a strength in overcoming the tyranny of the Pakistani state. The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement stands in solidarity with the Pashtun nation and the PTM in their fight for justice and dignity.

The JSFM is a political movement advocating for the rights and autonomy of the Sindhi people in Pakistan, focusing on cultural preservation, economic development, and self-determination.
