Vijayan described the credibility allegation as a “personal attack” and insisted the government is transparent. He protested the insinuations, stating, “There is nothing to hide from the Government’s side.”
Governor Khan had criticized Vijayan for allegedly misattributing remarks on gold smuggling and keeping him uninformed.
